Congressman Owens Announces Congressional Art Competition 

Washington –   Congressman Bill Owens announced today that his office is currently accepting submissions from high school students in New York’s 21st Congressional District for the annual Congressional Art Competition. 

“I am proud to offer young artists an opportunity to have their work displayed at the U.S. Capitol,” said Owens. “Our region is blessed with great schools and talented young people, and I look forward to seeing what they have to offer this year.”

For entry into the art competition, students should submit a digital copy and a completed Student Information and Release Form to ENTRY EMAIL. This form can be found at FORM or by requesting a copy from Congressman Owens’ office. A full description of contest guidelines can be found at CONTEST GUIDELINES. The winner of the competition will send his or her submission to Washington, D.C. to be displayed for one year as part of the national student art exhibition in the U.S. Capitol.
